A running gag in the English Uncyclopedia is that almost every item one - contains " quote" by Oscar Wilde - mostly free invented. The article in the German Uncyclopedia began earlier as often with a " quote" from David Hasselhoff. This common practice but was changed within the German Uncyclopedia, since Hasselhoff is seen there though as a joke character, but not more than funny. Step by step, the Hasselhoff - citations were therefore replaced by Heinz Erhardt invented quotes or statements of famous politicians and celebrities. For some time also set to music articles are published in the German Uncyclopedia that offer very funny plays and satirical word contributions to the part.

Since the spring of 2007, there is in the German Uncyclopedia according to the English model, the special projects " Requested Articles ", " UnBooks " and " Undictionary ".
