U19 - Oberliga Baden- Württemberg U19 -Hessen League U19 Regionalliga Southwest U19 Regionalliga Nord U19 Regionalliga Nord U19 - Middle Rhine League U19 - Niederrhein League

The U-19 League ( also A- Youth League) is the highest German league for U-19 football teams. It was founded in 2003 and is divided into the seasons North / Northeast, South / Southwest and West, each with 14 teams. Their respective Season three winner and one of the three runners-up play end of the season from the German A Youth Champion.

Forerunner of the U-19 Bundesliga were the A- youth - regional leagues. In the summer of 2003, the regional leagues North and Northeast, and South and West were each combined into Bundesliga seasons. The Regional League West remained unchanged and was only upgraded.

Season schedule

In the relay, North / Northeast teams will play the North German and the East German Football Association. The Bundesliga season are subordinate to the regional leagues north and northeast. The masters of these two regional leagues climb directly. The runner-up play in return game from the third climber.

In the relay, South / Southwest play teams of the South German and West German Football Association. The Bundesliga season are subordinate to the upper leagues Hessen and Baden- Württemberg, the Regionalliga Southwest and the Bavarian League. The masters of Bavaria League and the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg rise directly to the Bundesliga. The master of the Regionalliga Southwest and the Oberliga Hessen determine in return game the third climber.

In the relay West teams will play for the West German Football Association. The Bundesliga season, the Association leagues Westphalia, Lower Rhine, Middle Rhine subordinate whose master ascend to the Bundesliga.

Mode

Each team plays twice against all the other teams their season; once on a private place -and-away. A victory is rewarded with three, a draw with one point. The last-place at the end of the season, three teams of scale from increasing.

The semi-finals of the tournament will be played in the final round-trip game within a game. Until the 2007/ 08 season, the season three winner and the runner-up of Season South played in this final round of the German Cup.
