UNFD

(Pronounced " Unified " ) UNFD is a company founded by Jaddan Comerford in 2011 music label based in Melbourne, Australia. The label distributes mainly national artists of pop-punk, post-hardcore, metalcore and hardcore punk scene. Besides, it also distributes exclusively in Australia and New Zealand international bands from the U.S. record label Hopeless Records.

History

The label was founded on January 1, 2011 by Jaddan Comerford and evolved from its previous label Boomtown Records, which Comerford, had inspired founded by emerging music labels such as Epitaph Records, at the age of 18 years. In addition, Comerford gave up his company Staple management, with whom he worked in the field of music management. 5 August 2011 appeared with Heart Bound by Dream On, Dreamer, the first album of the label, which ranked number 38 in the Australian ARIA Charts reached and was nominated for the ARIA Music Awards in the category Rock Album of the Year.

End of January 2013, the label launched a campaign under the heading " Singularity 2013," to which it created its own website, which indicated a countdown, which ended on 22 February 2013. Meanwhile, was among the fans and the media about a possible festival, which only label bands occur speculated. In fact, it was in the countdown to the announcement of the album Singularity of North Lane, which was released in April of the same year and debuted at number three on the Australian charts. Shortly thereafter, the label was known to have taken the successful Australian band Dead Letter Circus under contract.
