Union County (New Jersey)

Union County is a county ( district ) in the state of New Jersey. In the 2000 census, the county had 522 541 inhabitants and a population density of 1,953 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Elizabeth.

Geography

The county has an area of ​​273 square kilometers, of which 6 square kilometers is water area. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Essex County, Hudson County, Middlesex County, Somerset County and Morris County.
