Union Douala
Union Sportive Douala is a Cameroonian football club from the city of Douala.
History
Shortly after its establishment in 1957, won Union Douala initial successes at national level. With a 4-0 win over Union Yaounde, the team took the trophy in 1961, the title defense failed with a final defeat against Lion Yaounde. 1969 brought the club finally the double of league and cup. 1976 and 1978 the club was again champion and won the 1979 CAF Champions League. After the Cup victory in 1980 succeeded in 1981 with the victory of the African Cup Winners' Cup a renewed success in continental competition. In addition to a new championship title three times in 1990 succeeded in winning the cup. Even in the wake of the club was regularly among the top teams in the country. 2012 Union won in 22 years the country's title.
