Union of Greens and Farmers
Zalo un Zemnieku Savieniba (OCD, alliance of Greens and Farmers ) is a political organization in Latvia.
The association is composed of the Farmers' Union of Latvia ( Latvian: " Latvijas Zemnieku Savieniba " - LZS ) and the Green Party of Latvia ( Latvian: " Latvijas Zaļā partija " - LZP ). In addition, two local parties to work together with the Alliance: " Liepaja partija " un " Latvijai un Ventspilij "
Election results
The Alliance first attempted to select the 8th Saeima in October 2002 and was able to win with 9.5 % of the vote 12 out of 100 seats.
- In the election for the 9th Saeima in 2006, the alliance won 16.7 % of the vote and 18 ( LZS: 14, LZP: 4 ) of the 100 seats.
- In the election to the 10th Saeima in 2010, the Alliance came to 19.7 % of the vote and won 22 of the 100 seats.
- In the election to the 11th Saeima in 2011, the Alliance came to 12.2% of the vote and won 13 of the 100 seats.
