Unisonic (Band)

Unisonic is founded in 2009, German hard rock band, composed of members and alumni various other known groups, namely Helloween (Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen), Pink Cream 69 ( Dennis Ward, Kosta Zafiriou ) and Gotthard ( Mandy Meyer).

History

The project initially started by the merger of Kiske, Zafiriou, Ward and Meyer, jointly developed song ideas and according to Kiskes " partially self-critical " were. The project was thus slow. Kiske was during this period still active as a solo artist and has also participated in Tobias Sammet's Avantasia project, where he again appeared on the 2011 tour with Kai Hansen; he had known him for the common time for Helloween. The two musicians realized that they "remain on the same wavelength radioed ," said Kiske. So Hansen eventually came to Unisonic.

After entering Hansen's work progressed again on songs for the album. The group met among others the Loud Park festival at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama (Japan) on. In addition to their own material they played there also songs from Helloween and Pink Cream 69 The recorded there Helloween Title I Want Out was part of the published in January 2012 EP Ignition.

On 6 March 2012 Kosta Zafiriou announced that he would give up his job as drummer for the band he co-founded Pink Cream 69 in favor of Unisonic. The first studio album titled " Unisonic " has been released on March 30, 2012.
