United Arab List

The United Arab List (Hebrew: רשימה ערבית מאוחדת, Reshima Aravit Meuhedet, in short: Ra'am; Arab ألقائمة العربية الموحدة al - ʿ Arabiyya al - Qā'ima al - Muwahhada, DMG al -qa ʾ al - ʿ ima al - Arabiya muwaḥḥada ) is a party in Israel. On 12 January 2009, the Central Election Committee has decided to exclude the United Arab List belonging Ta'al party of the parliamentary elections on 10 February. The Arab Balad party is affected by the exclusion. "The two parties would incite violence, supporting terrorism and not recognize the State of Israel, was the reasoning of the panel in which all parliamentary groups are represented. " However, the Israeli Supreme Court raised this exclusion on again so that the United Arab List but was allowed to compete in the Knesset elections in 2009.
