United Nations Mission of Observers in Prevlaka

The United Nations Observer Mission in Prevlaka, short UNMOP (of English. United Nations Mission of Observers in Prevlaka ) was a peacekeeping mission of the United Nations from 15 January 1996 to 15 December 2002, which was aimed at disarming the Prevlaka monitored.

Furthermore, the peace on the disputed peninsula of Croatia and Yugoslavia should be ensured. This was primarily achieved by monitoring the border area by soldiers.

It took Finland, Argentina, Indonesia, Denmark, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Ireland and the United States participated in this mission.
