United Nations Radio

The United Nations Radio (UN Radio ) is a radio program of the United Nations. It was founded on February 13, 1946 by a resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations and is now worldwide in multiple languages ​​(including the official languages ​​of the UN) to receive.

In November 2011, the General Conference of UNESCO has declared to commemorate the founding of the transmitter 13 February World Day of the radio.
