United Nations Security Council Resolution 1414

Resolution 1414 of the UN Security Council was adopted on 23 May 2002 without a vote. It includes East Timor's admission into the United Nations. The Security Council recommended without a vote of the UN General Assembly to include East Timor in the UN.

On 27 September 2002 the General Assembly of East Timor was taken up in the United Nations.
