United States Asiatic Fleet

The United States Asiatic Fleet was a Federation of American War Navy from 1902 until 1942.

The Asian fleet was formed in 1902 from the U.S. Asia Squadron. From 1907 to 1910, the Association was the first squadron of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, after which he was again independent of the Pacific Fleet.

The Asian fleet was mainly responsible to the Second World War for the protection of the Philippines, which were a colony of the United States at that time.
