United States Fed Cup team
The Fed Cup team in the United States is the national team of the United States Tennis, which is used in the Fed Cup. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup ) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, similar to the Davis Cup for the men.
History
For the first time the U.S. took part in the 1963 Fed Cup. The team has been able to win 17 times the title. 2011, the team was relegated from the World Group for the first time into the World Group II.
