United States Golf Association

The United States Golf Association ( USGA) was founded on 22 December 1894 and has since become the governing organization of golf in the countries of USA and Mexico.

The USGA works, along with The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, permanently on the Rules of Golf, hosted 13 national tournaments annually, controlled golf courses and support initiatives and programs around golf in the United States.
