United States House of Representatives elections, 2012

The elections to the House of Representatives of the United States took place on 6 November 2012. On the same day the presidential election and the elections were held to the Senate. In addition, there were eleven gubernatorial elections, elections to the parliaments in many states and a referendum on the future status of Puerto Rico. The Republicans lost 8 seats to the Democrats, but kept their majority with 234 to 201 seats. In the popular vote, however, won the Democrats.
