The U-20 ice hockey team of the United States represents the Hockey Association of the USA in hockey in the U20 Junior - level performance in international competitions. It was 2004, 2010 and 2013 world champion in their age class.

History

The U.S. U-20 ice hockey team was founded in 1974 on the occasion of the first unofficial host a World Youth Championship. Up to and including 1998, the U20 national team covered the entire range from juniors at the World Championships. Since the introduction of the U18 World Cup 1999 U-20 national team of the United States represents only the power stage of the U20 Junior World Championships.

The U.S. U-20 national team is among the strongest in the world and is in the time medals table after the U20 World Cup in 2014 to fourth place with three world titles, one silver and four bronze medals.
