United States Penitentiary, Allenwood

The Allenwood Federal Correctional Complex ( FCC) is a United States federal prison, which is located in Gregg Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. It lies at the feet of the Appalachians, on U.S. Route 15, just north of Washington DC

It includes three institutions that are designed exclusively for male prisoners:

  • FCI Allenwood Low - Minimum Security Level
  • FCI Allenwood Medium - medium security
  • USP Allenwood - Highest level of security
