Unity Church

The Unity Church of Christianity (short- Unity ), not to be confused with the Unitarians, is the largest denomination of the New Thought movement. The church was founded by Charles Fillmore (1854-1948) and Myrtle Fillmore (1845-1931) in 1889 in Kansas City (Missouri ). The headquarters of the church is located in Unity Village, Missouri.

About 900 parishes and groups associated with Unity. In over 15 different Countries Unity has around two million followers. The ordination of women and the marriage of same-sex couples are allowed in the Unity Church.

Unity publishes a monthly magazine called the Daily Word.
