UNIVAC 1102

The UNIVAC 1102, also called ERA 1102 was a UNIVAC computer system designed by Engineering Research Associates ( ERA ) and built by Remington Rand, 1954-1956.

There were three machines built for the United States Air Force. The machines were used for the one for the evaluation of wind tunnel simulations, on the other hand, they were used for the testing of aircraft engines. The machine interpreted the data of the wind tunnel and printed the results on five printers and plotters from four.

The Univac 1102 was a variant of the UNIVAC 1101 had the following properties:
