The Autonomous University of Lisbon (Portuguese: Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa ) is the oldest private university in Portugal. It was founded in 1985 on a statutory basis by the Cooperativa de Ensino Universitário ( CEU ), which it manages and in financial terms. The University is located in the Palácio dos Condes do Redondo from the 17th century in the Rua Santa Marta. As the only University of Lisbon, it is in the city center. Attached is a management school, the Escola de Gestão & Negocios, among other things, offers an MBA program event management.
