The Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS ) ( University Malaysia Sabah dtsch, Eng. University Malaysia Sabah ), Kota Kinabalu, capital of Sabah state, founded in 1994 is a public university in Malaysia.
Structure and organization
Today's College was founded in 1994 as the ninth university in Malaysia.
The Chancellor of the University is honorary and is occupied by a well-known personality, while the full-time management of the University is headed by the Vice-Chancellor.

Labuan Campus
The campus Labuan - Labuan UMS Kampus Antarabangsa (UMS KAL ) - was founded on 1 January 1999 as a branch of Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The role of Labuan as an international financial center on the campus to teach according to the Labuan faculties " International Economics and Finance " and " information science ".
