History

The Technical College of Vienna was founded in 1994 and became in 2000 the first Viennese FH FH status. From 2003 /04 the changeover began to the Bachelor / Master system. By far some 6,800 graduates and about 3,300 students and 12 bachelor 's and 17 master 's degree programs, the Technical College of Vienna is the largest technical college for technical studies in Austria. In October 2008, the Technical College of Vienna opened a second location in the passive office building Energy Base in Vienna Floridsdorf.

Projects

  • With the Austrian cubes, the Technical College of Vienna in cooperation with the Technical University of Graz an internationally competitive robotic soccer team of the RoboCup Small-size class.

The most recent RoboCup team of the Technical College of Vienna, the Austrian Kangaroos, is a collaboration with the Technical University of Vienna and reached at the 2009 RoboCup World Cup already in the quarter-finals of the Standard Platform League.
