The University of Córdoba (Spanish: Universidad de Córdoba, Catalan: Universitat de Cordova ) is a state university in Córdoba ( Andalucía) with approximately 21,000 students and 1,900 academic staff.

The University of Cordoba has established its roots as Free University in the 19th century and was shortly before the end of the dictatorship of Francisco Franco in 1972 new. The University is spread over three different locations: the Campus of Social Sciences and Law in the city center for health sciences in the West as well as for agricultural sciences, natural sciences and technology in the Rabanales campus in the east of the city.

Rector of the University of Córdoba is Prof. José Manuel Roldán Nogueras.
