The University of Hawaii - West Oahu is a state university in Pearl City in the U.S. state of Hawaii. With 1278 students, it is the smallest of the three universities in the University of Hawaii system.

History

The university was founded in 1976 and is accredited as a university since 1981. Since August 2010, a new campus is being built south-west of Kapolei, which is expected to be completed in 2012. He will in future offer up to 7500 students and 1000 employees place.

Courses of Study

The University offers four courses of study for a Bachelor of Arts ( BA), one for the Bachelor of Education ( B.Ed. ) and three for the Bachelor of Applied Science. In addition, four certificate programs are offered.
