University of Maribor

The University of Maribor (also University of Maribor, Slovenian: Univerza Mariboru v ) in the University of Maribor is the second largest zweitältestete and based on the number of students university in Slovenia.
History
The University of Maribor has existed since 1975, when founded in the 19th century under Bishop Anton Martin Slomšek Slovenian Theological College was merged with six other educational and research institutions.
Research and teaching
Today, the university faculties consists of 15 with a total of around 20,000 students. Teaching and research takes place among others in the fields of agronomy, chemistry, electrical engineering, computer science, nursing, engineering, law and economics. At IER - Institute for Entrepreneurship Research activities are researched to start a business in Slovenia.
