University of Mostar

The State University of Mostar is a teaching in the Croatian language institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the center of the district Rondo and exists since 1977. During the academic year 1992/93 was adopted as the official language Croatian and the current name of University of Mostar.

In the academic year 1994/95 there were in the eastern part of Mostar to another university foundation with Bosnian language, which adopted the former name Džemal Bijedić. Both universities describe themselves as a legal successor of the original University of the run since the introduction of the Bologna rules to compete for prestige and students.

The University of Mostar is a member of the network of Balkan Universities

The University consists of nine faculties, which are to study programs for Bachelor's and Master's degrees offered in accordance with the Bologna rules.
