University of North Carolina at Charlotte

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (also known as UNC Charlotte, UNCC, University of Charlotte or Charlotte ) is a state university in Charlotte in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The college was founded in 1946. Today, some 23,300 students are enrolled, up to 2020 the number of students is expected to grow to 35,000. The UNC Charlotte is part of the University of North Carolina system.

Organization

The campus is spread over four sites. In addition to the main campus, the University City, there is the Charlotte Research Institute ( research institute ), the Uptown Charlotte Campus ( economics, evening classes ) and the South Charlotte ( Ballantyne ) campus ( computer science ).
