The University of Piraeus ( Piraeus University also; Greek: Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς ) is a public university in the Greek port of Piraeus, near Athens.

The University of Piraeus goes back to the 1938 Industrial School, founded in Piraeus, which was in 1945 transferred to the Higher School of Industrial Studies and in 1989 received the status of a university as well as its current name.
