The University of South Carolina, Columbia ( USC or even Columbia) was founded on 19 December 1801 and is located in Columbia, the state capital of South Carolina, home. Currently, the university comprises 27,000 students. The campus, which opened in 1805, has an area of 1.45 square kilometers.

Sports

The sports teams are the USC Gamecocks. The university is a member of the Southeastern Conference. The football team carries out their home games at Williams - Brice Stadium.
