University of Southeastern Philippines

The University of Southeastern Philippines ( USEP ) is a state university in the Philippines and is considered an important educational institution in the Philippines and in the Administrative Region Davao Region and Caraga. In the second semester of 2011, 12,492 students enrolled at the university.

Locations

She has four locations in the following communities:

  • The main campus of the University is located in the Iñigo Street, Barangay Obrero, Davao City
  • The USEP Mintal campus is located in Barangay Mintal, Davao City
  • The USEP Tagum - Mabini Campus has two smaller sites in Tagum City, Davao del Norte province and Mabini, Compostela Valley Province
  • The USEP Bislig campus is located in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur Province

Faculties

The University of Southeastern Philippines is home to five different faculties, these are divided into high school and technical college areas, as well as vocational education in colleges. These are the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Technology, College of Education, School of Applied Economics, College of Governance and Business, Department of Development Studies, Institute of Computing and the University Evening program the academic and night school courses offers.

History

The University was established in 1978 as the offshoot of the Mindanao State University - Davao, the University of the Philippines - Master of Management Program in Davao City, Davao School of Arts and Trades, and the Davao National Regional Agricultural School were merged.
