UnSun

UnSun is a company founded in 2006 Polish Gothic metal band around guitarist Maurycy "Mauser " Stefanowicz ( former member of the death- metal band Vader ) and singer Aya. In September 2008 her debut album The End of Life appeared.

Band History

Originally founded under the name Unseen, chose the Polish-born quartet later a name that symbolizes the interplay between day and night as well as light and dark after self-definition of the band.

In 2006, UnSun their first demo called Whispers, with which they attracted the attention of many labels on themselves. Already in the following year signed the four -piece band a contract with the Polish label Mystic Production and immediately started work on her debut album The End of Life, which was released on September 22, 2008 under Century Media.

On 11 October 2010, the second studio album of the band Clinic For Dolls appeared under Mystic Production.

Style and review

The band describes their music as melancholic, dark and catchy. UnSun is located in the area of gothic metal. Reviewers of the album criticized particularly Ayas little convincing, inappropriate for the genre, childish voice, however, praised Stefanowicz as a gifted guitarist. Especially the fact that the song was mixed in the foreground and thereby hindered the development of the guitar, displeased. The general tenor of the critics stated weichgepültes a little rousing debut album.
