Untalkative Bunny

The rabbit from next door (English Untalkative Bunny) is a Canadian- British cartoon series that was produced from 2001 to 2004. It is based on the short film Untalkative Bunny by Graham Falk.

Content

The scene is the Great City. In each story the hare next door sets deals with the problems of the modern world and makes it interesting and exciting discoveries. A special feature is that the rabbit never speaks - his feelings, he clarified by a pronounced facial expressions and gestures. Each episode consists of five stories, each lasting about five minutes. In Germany these stories were shown in a different order than in the original.

Characters

The rabbit next door is a bunny who never speaks. He lives in an apartment. His species is not clearly defined. The rabbit next door is always willing to explore his world and try new things.

The squirrel is the best friend of the rabbit. It lives with his children in a tree in the park and comes to visit his friend often. Even the squirrel never speaks.

The Emu lives one floor above the hare. He often complains about his neighbor, whom he can not stand very well.

The howler monkey is another neighbor of the rabbit. Once, he tried the rabbit to eat next door - without success.

Production and publication

The series was produced from 2001 to 2004 of DynoMight Cartoons and Treehouse Productions, directed by Graham Falk. For the music Wayne Bartlett and David Burns were responsible. The series was broadcast on 15 April 2001 to May 2004 by Teletoon in Canada.

In Germany some of the consequences of Super RTL aired.
