OSCAR 36 is a British amateur radio satellite, which was built at the University of Surrey.

The satellite was launched on 21 April 1999 on a Dnepr rocket at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. After the successful launch of the previously known as UOSAT -12 satellite was assigned the OSCAR number 36.
