Upper Deck Company

The company was founded in 1988 Upper Deck is an American manufacturer of trading cards and the world's largest manufacturer of sports trading cards. Under the name of Upper Deck Entertainment ( UDE short ) are distributed trading card game (TCG ) as well as some series not playable trading cards. The most popular trading card game from Upper Deck Entertainment were the Yu -Gi -Oh! TCG, which is no longer marketed by a dispute with Konami Upper Deck, World of Warcraft TCG, published since mid-2010 from Cryptozoic Entertainment, and the VS. System, a TCG based on the superhero comics from Marvel and DC Comics. More collectible card games such as " Avatar - The Last Airbender " ( the eponymous animated series ), the Shaman King TCG, Pirates of the Caribbean TCG, Gridiron, WinX Club TCG and the TCG Bratz.

Organized Play

Upper Deck Entertainment organizes many tournaments to his trading card games in the world. In addition there are amateur leagues, in the form of small tournaments in various toy stores or TCG ( Trading Card Games, Trading Card Games ) and role play specialized stores (so-called hobby stores ) are discharged.

For the Yu -Gi -Oh! TCG were the:

End of the collaboration with Konami

Konami announced in December 2008 to working with Upper Deck, as it allegedly was evidence of links between Upper Deck and the distribution of counterfeit Yu -Gi -Oh cards in North America. Subsequently, there was a dispute between the two companies, but in the Upper Deck was defeated.
