English professor Wesley Smith buys such a device in order to make themselves familiar with the new technology and to defy his ex- girlfriend, who thinks he's too old-fashioned. But Wesley's Kindle is different from the beginning: It's pink - while there is the equipment according to official figures, only in white. In addition, it has a strange feature called " UR " function. Quick find Wesley incredible out: His Kindle can log into parallel worlds and track it works that were here, never written in our world. For example, he stumbles upon a Hemingway novel, which was written in a universe in which the writer lived longer than in ours. After the initial enthusiasm Wesley's fascination, however, differs deep dismay when he realizes that his Kindle more can: It has a newspaper article from the future - and suddenly finds Wesley on a mission to save the life of his ex-girlfriend. ..
