Urea Reduction Ratio ( URR ) is a parameter to determine the treatment effectiveness and an essential element for the assessment of dialysis efficiency. Another parameter to this assessment is the Kt / V.

In hemodialysis ( 3 times / week) should be achieved here a URR of 65%. This corresponds to a Kt / V of 1.2. If more than dialyzed three times per week, this value may be less.
