Urethral sphincter

The Musculus urethra ( from Latin musculus " muscle ", from Greek ouréthra " urethra "; " urethral muscle ") is a striated muscle of the urethra ( urethra ). In male mammals surround circularly the urethra in female muscle arises from the side of the vagina and forms a loop around the urethra. In humans, it is divided into the deep transverse perineal muscle and the external urethral sphincter actual sphincter urethrae membranaceae.
