ÄurÄ‘evac
Đurđevac [ dʑu rdʑɛʋats ː ] or even Đurđevec ( German: Sankt Georgwar; Hungarian: Szentgyörgyvár ) is a town in the Croatian Draugegend ( kroat. Podravina ) near the Hungarian border.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1267 and belongs to the Koprivnica - Križevci. According to the 2011 census living in the village of 8,264 inhabitants. The city's name derives from the patron saint, Saint George, from ( kroat. Juraj, short form Đuro or Gjuro ).
