Urisee

The Urisee is a small lake near Reutte in Tyrol. The lake is close to the ring road Reutte and is owned by the market town of Reutte. The majority of the slabs is natural riparian zone, only a small portion is straightened and made ​​of wood or concrete surfaces. The approach to Urisee leads through the district of Reutte Muehl.

A special feature of Urisees is that he has neither an inflow nor an outflow and the water level is therefore exposed to large fluctuations (up to 4 m).

The water quality of Urisees is evaluated by the European Commission with the blue triangle, the best of three categories.

The Urisee is a popular Tauchsee. Hiking trails around the Urisee and Dürrenberger Alm are popular toboggan run in winter.
