Cerro Uritorco

The Cerro Uritorco is with 1949 meters the highest mountain in the Sierra Chica, a mountain range in the Sierras de Córdoba ( central Argentina). At its foot lies the town of Capilla del Monte with 10,000 inhabitants in the Valle de Punilla in the province of Córdoba.

Urîtu Urquhart means the Argentinian Quechua " Parrot Mountain".

The mountain is privately owned by Sonia Beatriz de Anchorena Crotto from one of the richest families in Argentina; Entry is required for his ascent.
