Urmas Rooba

Urmas Rooba ( born July 8, 1978 in Roosna - Alliku ) is an Estonian football player. His brother Meelis Rooba is also a professional footballer.

Rooba began playing football in his youth for the clubs FC Balatonelle and SK Balatonelle before he was discovered by Tervis Pärnu and arrived there in the youth teams to use. In 1995, he debuted in the Meistriliiga for Tervis Pärnu. From there he went only one season later to FC Flora Tallinn, where he was a regular player at first. Later followed by trip to Denmark and Finland. In the Estonian national team, he played from 1996 to 2008 a total of 72 games in which he scored two goals.
