Urmein (Romansh Urmagn ) is a municipality in the district of Thusis in the district of Rhein Behind the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

Geography

Urmein is a scattered village on Heinz Berg and is located west of Thusis. South of the village flows the Nolla through a deeply carved ravines and west of the ridge rises Glaser ( 2124 m). Beyond the Nollatobels the municipal area rises to near the Zwölfihorns ( 2281 m). To Urmein the holiday village Oberurmein part (1527-1609 m).
