Urmersbach

Urmersbach is a municipality in the district Cochem-Zell, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Emperor Esch.

Urmersbach is located in the Eifel region. The municipality also includes the residential courses in Upper Mill and Schuwerackerhof.

History

By the end of the 18th century Urmersbach country belonged to the Electorate of Trier gorgeous and the Office Kaisersesch was assigned.

Parish Church of St. Andrew

The history of the parish church of " St. Andreas " goes back to a mention in a Weistum of 1574th The Chapel of St. Andrew is the patron here in the delimitation of the " called Polcher wood " for the first time.

Events

Every year the Village Fair on the first weekend in September. Organised by the four associations of the fair society event will be held on Saturday and Sunday in the marquee at the community center.

Every year on the last Sunday in July, the St. Hubert Protect Brotherhood Urmersbach 1928 eV celebrates their traditional Marksmen with Hubertusmesse and large pageant.

Also in September each year hosts the nationally known traditional bachelor party.
