Urnes Stave Church

Urnes Stave Church in the small town on the east bank of the Orne Lusterfjord, a branch of the Sognefjord in Norway. Its origin dates back to the year 1100 and can therefore be referred to as the oldest stave church in the world. The building still preserved, dates from the 12th and 13th centuries.

The church now belongs to the ancient association Fortidsminneforeningen.
