Urs Sonderegger

Urs Sonderegger ( born April 28, 1964 in Glarus ) is a Swiss race car driver and entrepreneur.

Career

Sonderegger began his motorsport career in 2007 in the SEAT Leon Supercopa. He took 2007 to 2009 at several races of the Spanish and the German Cup finals. In 2008 he also made ​​his debut in the SEAT Leon Eurocup, where he took up to two races. 2009 remained Sonderegger in the SEAT Leon Eurocup. He attended only one race weekend not participate and finished the season in 28th place in the drivers' standings. In 2010, Sonderegger part in the half of the SEAT Leon Eurocup season and once again took the 28th place overall. The racers had achieved in any of the racing series one championship point.

2011 Sonderegger joined at the age of 46 years for Wiechers - Sport in a BMW 320 TC in the World Touring Car Championship ( WTCC) at. Originally, he should attend seven race weekends. He decided, however, to end his commitment after the fourth event. Sonderegger drove during operations always in the back of the pack and two 15th places were his best results.

Sonderegger graduated in civil engineering in architecture and construction management. He leads a Swiss architecture and real estate company.
