Urso of Calabria

Urso of Salerno (also Urso of Calabria or Latin Ursus Calaber or Urso Salernitanus; * in the 12th century, † 1225 ) was an Italian physician, philosopher and author. He is regarded as the author of important works of the medical school of Salerno and is regarded as one of the leaders of the school. He is regarded as the main representative of the Aristotelian theories.
