Ursus, Warsaw

Ursus is a district on the western outskirts of the Polish capital Warsaw. In the east it borders the district Włochy and to the north by the district of Bemowo. The crime rate is the lowest in the entire city.

History

The district was created when the Ursus tractor manufacturer built a production facility there. So many production facilities and office buildings were constructed, the surrounding areas, many workers settled with their families.

Economic problems forced the company, a large part of its production to sell.

Economy

In the halls and buildings sold many companies facing a, such as carpentry StolMeb that manufactures high quality furniture, including a few hotels in Warsaw, but also for the watch manufacturer Zibi. In the eastern part there is a huge shopping center.
