Uruava or PORAKA was on Bougainville, Papua New Guinea, Austronesian language spoken.

A count of 1929/30, showed 98 speakers. In 1963, only five elderly speakers identified. 1973, this had died.

The Uruava speaking population group migrated probably only the beginning of the 19th century by the Solomonic Shortland Islands in their present settlement area at a Arawa. The language is completely absorbed in the Papuan language Naasioi.
