USA International Harp Competition

The USA International Harp Competition is a prestigious international competition for harp in Bloomington (Indiana).

It was founded in 1989 by the harpist Susann McDonald, a professor at the Jacobs School of Music on the campus of Indiana University. It takes place every three years and open to participants of all nationalities between 16 and 32 years open.

There are different prices for both interpretation and composition. The winners of this is often a springboard for an international career.
