Useriner See

The Useriner lake is part of the Mecklenburg Lake District, and is traversed by the river Havel. The lake is part of the National Park Müritz. It lies north of the Great Labussee and is about 5.2 kilometers long and about 950 meters wide. It has an area of 365 hectares. The lake is one of the top Havel lakes and has a connection with the great lake district on the Upper Havel waterway. To the north is connected to the Kramssee and Zierzsee. The approximately 33.4 -acre Zierzsee is strictly speaking only a bay in Useriner lake. The lake is separated from it only by the narrow peninsula goats angle. On the east bank is the eponymous place Userin and to the south the small settlement Useriner mill. Just north of the village there is a small island in the lake. The east bank of the water body is forested and the West Bank in Userin is mostly used for agriculture. In the southern part is located at Zwenzow a nudist camp.
